What we do
Three kinds of roof, done properly
Asphalt shingle replacement
Our bread and butter. Full tear-off, deck inspection, dry rot repair where we find it, new underlayment and a new shingle roof. Permits, inspection and disposal are in the price we write, not added at the end.
Tile roofs, lift and relay
On most tile roofs the tile is fine and it is the underlayment beneath that has failed. We lift the existing tile, fit new synthetic heat-resistant underlayment, and relay your own tile. Good tile can last decades more, so this costs far less than buying new.
New tile, where it is warranted
Sometimes the tile itself has gone and relaying it would be false economy. We will show you why with photographs rather than ask you to take our word for it.
Flat roofs in TPO or torch down
Low slope sections, additions and mid century homes. A proper membrane rebuild, not a coating brushed over a roof that needed replacing.
Title 24 cool roof compliance
California’s energy standards require a cool roof product on many re-roofs depending on slope, material and climate zone. Where yours applies we quote a compliant product from the start, so it is not a surprise at inspection.
Financing
A roof is not a purchase most people plan for. Financing is available, and we can show you the monthly figure next to the total at the measure so you can decide on real numbers.

Do you do roof repairs?
No. We replace roofs, and our smallest projects start around $7,000. If your roof has years left in it and needs a patch, we are the wrong call, and we would rather say so than sell you a roof you do not need yet.
How do I know whether my roof is actually due?
Age is the first clue: most asphalt shingle roofs in San Diego run twenty to thirty years. After that it is what we find on the roof and in the attic. We measure and photograph it, show you the evidence, and you decide.
My tile roof is leaking. Do I need a whole new tile roof?
Usually not. On most tile roofs the tile is sound and the underlayment beneath it has failed. We lift the tile, fit new synthetic heat-resistant underlayment and relay your own tile, which costs far less than a roof’s worth of new tile.
How long does a roof replacement take?
Two to five days is typical for a single family home, weather permitting. Tile and complex roofs run longer. You get the schedule in writing with the quote, not on the morning the crew shows up.
Do you handle the permit?
Yes. A re-roof is permitted work in San Diego. We pull the permit, meet the inspector, and include the fee and the disposal in the written price.
What warranty do I get?
A 10 year workmanship warranty in writing, alongside whatever the manufacturer warrants on the material itself. Both are on the quote before you sign anything.
